Snow-Covered Christmas Tree

We've had several days of snow and very cold temperature which has made the look of Christmas very real. The snow on the evergreen trees was very appealing, so I decided to take an ornament from our Christmas tree and hanged it on one of our snow-covered evergreens. Enjoy the picture!

Little Angels

Last summer at one of the wedding receptions I saw these three sisters. They were so precious that I took a few pictures of them. If I tried to get a picture of one of them, the other two would quickly appear and the three of them would line up for a group picture. In this photo, the three had just sat down at a table to enjoy some food. The three were quite excited about being at a wedding reception.

A Heavenly Scene

About 5:30 in the evening this scene of the moon and the planets Venus and Jupiter appeared in the southern sky. I had the camera on manual control, an ISO of 800, f3.5, and a shutter speed of 1/2 second.
