A Trip to Atlanta, Georgia

This past weekend we flew to Atlanta to attend my niece's wedding. Ben and Janelle drove up from Florida. The day before the wedding, six of us decided to visit Stone Mountain, a nearby attraction. I had just given my son, Ben, a camera, and he took these pictures with it.


This is part of Stone Mountain.. Carved into the side of the mountain are images of three men of history: Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and Stonewall Jackson.


The six of us took a cable car to the top of Stone Mountain. Here am I at the top of the mountain looking over the edge. Liz, Marilyn, and Benton are pictured, also.


We also took a short train ride around Stone Mountain.

A game of miniature golf was also play by the six of us.
